Steve`s Homemade Ice Cream in Fernley

New to Fernley and came across Steve's. Super polite and very delicious homemade ice cream.

Simple and yummy. No crowds, perfect stop with the kids on a drive through no-where NV.Probably will stop by again on the way home.Girl at the counter took a pic for us.

Inviting and friendly atmosphere with a good selection of ice cream. The sundae was yummy and reasonably priced. The whip cream was decadent! The hot fudge was a little grainy, or they would have a 5.

Always always always stop at Steve's going to and coming back on 80 to Winnemucca. Such a nice man.

My family and I frequent this local shop and not because it's local but because it's amazing. If you're driving through Fernley for any reason Stop here and get a treat. The quality is unmatched and the staff is fantastic. Some of the best ice cream I have ever had and trust me I've had alot of ice cream. Definitely the best malts available! Get tossed back into an old fashioned soda shop and prepare to chill out!

Can't say enough about Steve's. Great for all occasions whether you're stopping in for awhile or taking out. Price is worth the options, service, and local business support. Incapable of franchising because there's no copying this original formula.

They have my favorite ice cream that I can only find in Massachusetts during Christmas. (Peppermint)They have chocolate sprinkles (jimmies) that I can only find in the north east, (once in Florida) and chocolate crunchies that I can only find on Carvel ice cream cakes. Everything was delicious and my 2 scoop cone ended up requiring a dish because it was enormous. I’m pretty happy with temporary home of Fernley.

Service was outstanding and ice cream was very good. I had the Brownie Sunday and it was delicious. Reasonably priced as the ice cream is homemade and way better than any store bought ice cream. Definitely worth a stop if you are craving good oce cream.

My wife and I stopped in for the very first time this evening. (2-7-2019) There was only one person behind the counter and they were busy. She was quick to acknowledge our entry, take our order and serve us. She was bright, cheerful, friendly and confident. (and cute!) The ice cream was superb and the service was excellent! We will always stop at Steve's when we go to Fernley! Thank you Steve's for a great experience!

A gem of a shop in an unexpected place, Right in the heart of Fernley, NV. We came here on a day when the high was 40f and it had rained and snowed. Even an hour before closing time the place was BUSY. But Steve and his staff never once slowed down or showed signs of being frustrated. They served up scoop after scoop with a smile. The ice cream is damn good as is the service. We will be coming back for sure!

Homemade ice cream earns 5 stars for the time and effort of churning out so much happiness. The best peach ice cream ever. Of course eating it in a giant waffle cone makes it a complete dessert. Strawberry ice cream soda, cream with cherry on top, was a fat scoop of yummy strawberry ice cream with real bits of strawberries, club soda and its remaining can of club soda so you can keep refreshing it with soda. The cherry and blueberry sorbets were strangely unnatural artificial colors and did not exude their natural flavors. Lemon sorbet was flavorful. Very clean and gracious place. I left with an ice cream smile on my face.

I love coming here. It's been a while since i been here and he remembered my order i always get. I always get a banana split in the waffle bowl and he always comes out from the back to make them for me. Best place ever.!!! Thank you Steve!!!

Price Point: $$Small venue, with reasonable prices, currently not too busy, service is prompt, Ice Cream Cakes/Sandwhiches available at counter. They do Custom Ice Cream Cakes and Sandwhiches, but you gotta ask 1 week in advance. The manager is pretty cool and a fun loving guy very sociable, and he makes all his Ice Cream from scratch. 5 pints of homemade Ice Cream, an Ice Cream Cake, 2 sundays and a malt, spent a little less than $70. If you're ever near by, stop by Steve's and get your money's worth. I will be going back, maybe see yah there!
